Welcome to Loreto College, Marryatville, where learning and the pursuit of excellence is truly motivated by the heart.
Loreto’s reputation as an outstanding all-girls' school endures and our academic success speaks volumes about our teaching philosophy and the students themselves.
We believe that at the core of this success is our understanding of what drives us to learn and follow our true passion in life – the heart, the imagination and the soul. Success is different to different people. Our girls are taught to be the best they can be, in whatever path they choose to pursue, with an inspired love of learning.
A Loreto education is well-rounded, where our students are presented with opportunities and given the support, encouragement and skills they need to be confident to excel in their field of interest.
Our curriculum for Reception to Year 10 is based on the International Baccalaureate programme, which enables our students to look beyond their own environment and seek out new cultures, new thinking and innovation. This, coupled with our high level of programming in Science, Arts, Humanities and Mathematics, and our understanding of how girls respond best to learning, is the foundation of our education model.
Our success is in the woman she becomes – compassionate, mindful, optimistic, wise – and ready to embrace the next stage of her life journey, with confidence.
For those who are considering Loreto College for their daughter's education, we welcome you to visit us to take a tour of our school and meet the students, teachers and community that make our all-girls' school one of the top private schools in Adelaide.
