Out of School Hours Care
Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) at Loreto College is a valuable and integral part of the school community. Working in partnership with parents, girls, staff and school we recognise and nurture each girl’s uniqueness and potential. It is a time and place:
- for girls to play together, have fun, develop friendships and learn new skills;
- where everyone feels welcomed, respected, excited, safe, encouraged, challenged and included.
We believe:
- learning occurs continually, with the most important influence being on what children learn, together with the quality of relationships with people in their lives;
- your daughter has the right to a caring, stimulating, safe and enriching environment;
- your daughter has the right to experience opportunities that develop a sense of self-worth and of positive achievement.
At Loreto OSHC, girls are encouraged to:
- be responsible for their own behaviour;
- listen to and respect the opinions and feelings of others;
- respect the values and cultural differences of others.
At Loreto OSHC your daughter receives high quality care while being given the opportunity to experience and learn some wonderful new skills.
We provide experiences in which girls can develop:
- Spiritually ...
- Cognitively ...
- Verbally ...
- Physically ...
- Socially ...
- Emotionally ...
- Creatively ...
... in a caring, pastoral and safe environment.
Our experienced staff are skilled in caring for and supporting girls and their families. Staff members ensure they continuously develop and review the exciting and stimulating age appropriate activities. In this way we make certain that our programs continue to be dynamic and flexible, catering for individual needs and talents.
