LORETO 2009 SCHOLARSHIPS
Please note scholarship applications for 2009 are now closed.
Scholarship applications for 2010 will be available later in Semester II of 2008.

Scholarship Programs (pdf)
- This is a scholarship provided biennially to a Year 10 or 11 boarding student and it covers their day school tuition for Years 10, 11 and 12.
- Applications close 28th February 2008.

General Academic Scholarships
- For students entering YEAR 8 in 2009. Entrance scholarships will be based on the results of the ACEP Examination to be held on Saturday 9th February at Loreto College.
- Registration is through the following link ACEP (please note online registration system will not be active until the 15th October 2007).
The Old Scholars’ Music Scholarship
- For students entering YEAR 6 in 2009
- Music scholarships are awarded primarily on the basis of an audition.
- Talent (evidence of music ability) and potential are the main considerations in the audition
- Scholarship holders agree to contribute actively and generously to the co-curricular program and performance activities of the College
- Scholarship holders must take elective Music in years 9 – 12
- Scholarship holders will be expected to maintain a high standard of behaviour and commitment to studies.
- Application forms can be obtained from the Enrolments Manager. Applications close 28th February 2008.
- 10 to 50% remission of tuition fees, depending on ability and extent of need, will be applicable over 7 years.
The Old Scholars’ Mathematics and Science Scholarship
- For students entering YEAR 10 in 2009.
- Applications forms can be obtained from the Enrolments Manager.
- Applications close 28th February 2008.
- 10 to 50% remission of tuition fees, depending on ability and extent of need, will be applicable over 3 years.
All Scholarship holders are expected to complete their secondary education at Loreto, Marryatville, to maintain high standards of academic achievement and behaviour, and to contribute positively and enthusiastically to all aspects of school life including the co-curricular program. Each scholarship holder’s progress in the school and contribution to the wider life of the school will be reviewed annually. Holders of Mathematics and Science Scholarships would be expected to undertake at least three Mathematics/Science subjects to Stage II. Holders of the Music Scholarship would be expected to study Music to Stage II. No student may hold more than one scholarship at any one time.
