Enrolment Information

We look forward to sharing the gifts of a Loreto education with our prospective students and families.

              Enrolment Information

Parents and caregivers are welcome to submit an enrolment application at any time; however, we encourage the submission of applications as early as possible in order to ensure greater success in being offered a position in the chosen year of entry.

All applicants are placed on a waiting list, and places will be offered according to the following key priorities:

  1. The date on which the application was received
  2. Girls whose sisters already attend the College

Places will be offered subject to availability and enrolment priorities. A formal offer will be made after an enrolment interview which may take place up to two years prior to the requested entry date.

Enrolment Process

Step 1: Visit the College

We warmly invite students and families to visit the College and experience our wonderful facilities and vibrant culture. We offer a number of College Tour dates. Individual tours are also available on request.

Our Enrolments Manager, Ms Franca Rossetto, is available to assist with further information and to guide the application process.

Step 2: Complete documentation

Step 3: Submit your application

Once completed, forward your Application for Enrolment, supporting documentation and the $95 application fee (non-refundable) to:

Enrolments Manager
Loreto College
316 Portrush Road
Marryatville SA 5068

Alternatively, you may choose to email your completed application and supporting documentation to our Enrolments Manager

Payment of the $95 application fee can be paid in person, via cheque or credit card payment over the phone.

What happens after I apply?

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive written confirmation, and your application will be processed.

Your application will be placed on a waiting list, in order of the date on which the application was received. When a place becomes available for your daughter's chosen year and year level of entry, she will be invited for an interview with the Enrolments Manager and, where possible, the Principal.

Following your interview, if you are successful:

  • You will receive an offer of placement and an Acceptance Form from the Principal
  • To accept the offer, you will be asked to complete the Acceptance Form and pay a non-refundable Acceptance Fee

Prior to commencement

In the term prior to commencement at Loreto, you will begin the transition process. This is an exciting time for the girls and their parents and helps you to become acquainted with school life at Loreto College.

Orientation Days, for new students (Years 1-12), are held during the fourth school term each year. For Reception students, transition visits are held in the term prior to commencement.

You will begin to receive information from us about parent orientation and our student ‘Making Connections’ days; as well as general information about uniform and book purchase, school policies and practice, extracurricular activity, curriculum and subject choices (if relevant) and general fee payment and administrative information.
