Loreto College has a proven record of outstanding sporting accomplishments in a wide range of co-curricular and extra-curricular endeavours. Our dynamic sporting programs empower our students to cultivate a spirit of teamwork and healthy competition. The focus is on participation, friendship and active involvement.
The College offers a wide range of extra-curricular sports during all terms for both Junior School and Senior School students.
For Junior School students, extra-curricular sport includes: netball, netta, basketball, aerobics, tennis, hockey, minkey, touch football, soccer, softball, t-ball, swimming and athletics, as well as opportunities to participate in State, district and regional sporting competitions.
For Senior School students, the Summer sports, offered in Terms 1 and 4 are: basketball, water polo, touch football, rowing, soft ball, tennis and indoor volleyball. Winter sports, offered in Terms 2 and 3, are: netball, soccer, 9-a-side and 16-a-side AFL and badminton.
The College is also involved in Knockout Sports as well as inter-house and inter-school carnivals in athletics, swimming and cross country.
