Gabby Cehic OAM (83')

Dr Gabby Cehic is a Nuclear Medicine Physician at SA Health and has been awarded the Member of the Order of Australia (AM) Medal for significant service to medicine, nuclear oncology, and to professional groups. Gabby is also the Coordinator for South Australian Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumour Pathway.

Cristina Tridente (06')

Fashion Designer and owner of Couture+Love+Madness, Cristina’s passion for couture shines through each of her garments. Cristina’s designs are renowned for their impeccable classic cuts, embellished fabrics, and attention to detail. Her fashion label is recognised as a leading South Australian designer specialising in bridal gowns, red-carpet, formals, and race wear. Cristina has dressed celebrities including Dannii Minogue, Lucy Durack, Michala Banas, and Ali Oetjen.

Amelia Mulcahy (06')

Amelia Mulcahy is a TV Presenter and Journalist for Seven Network, and hosts fashion, sporting, and lifestyle events in Adelaide. Amelia is an ambassador for South Adelaide Football Club, Down Syndrome SA, and Parkinson’s SA.

Simona Carbone (02')

Simona Carbone is a Research Scientist, completing a PhD in Neurogastroenterology and Visceral Neurophysiology at Flinders University. Her current research aims to understand the functioning of sensory pathways from the alimentary canal to the central nervous system.

Emily McGrath (00')

Emily is a Humanitarian who has worked for Medicins Sans Frontiers. She has worked in refugee camps in war-torn Ethiopia, set up and worked in centres treating those with the Ebola Virus in Sierra Leone and is currently working in the Royal Darwin Hospital Emergency Department to support Indigenous health projects.

Alice Hoban (00')

Alice is a Native Title Lawyer and Senior Associate at international law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills in Brisbane. Alice has been listed in the 2015 and 2016 Doyle’s Guide National List of Native Title Rising Stars for non-partner level lawyers practicing in native title and cultural heritage matters. Alice has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the University of Adelaide.

Linda Mignone (00')

Linda is an Endocrinologist specialising in the treatment of disorders relating to hormones. She has studied a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Linda is currently completing a PhD investigating the effect of whey protein in the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes and the effects of gastric emptying on blood glucose levels.

Georgina March (00')

Georgina established the Tomboy Cafe in Melbourne which has featured in an episode of Offspring. Georgina has completed a double degree in Arts and Social Science, as well as Honours in Bioethics (Assisted Reproduction).

Alice Higgins (04')

Alice is a Political Producer in Canberra’s Parliament House for the daily current affairs program, ABC AM. She has previously worked at Southern Cross Ten in Canberra as a Senior Presenter and Producer, and has also worked for the Sunday Mail and The Advertiser as the Urban Affairs Reporter, and for The Messenger. Alice has studied a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) at UniSA.

Alyssa Fitzpatrick (06')

Alyssa is a Doctor and a Rhodes Scholar, where she studied a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery at Adelaide University. Alyssa completed an internship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital where she completed her Registered Medical Officer training. In 2013, Alyssa became a Rhodes Scholar and is currently studying her second Masters degree at Oxford University.

Elise Fantin (08')

Elise is a Lead News Reporter for ABC Mount Gambier, producing stories for the nightly news program and for ABC News and ABC News 24. She has also worked for ABC Adelaide, Riverland and Canberra. Elise studied a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of International Relations at UniSA.

Emily Fantin (08')

Emily is a Project Officer working in the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, where she works on government policies and procedures in relation to the Department’s clients. She has completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts at the University of Adelaide. Before relocating to Canberra, Emily worked as a graduate lawyer in large Adelaide-based commercial law firms.

Danielle Fitzpatrick (08')

Danielle is a Doctor, completing a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide. In 2016, Danielle became a Rhodes Scholar and commenced her studies at Oxford University. She is now a Registered Medical Officer at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Alice Dawkins (10')

Alice was the first Australian to participate in an exchange program in Myanmar through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where she contributes to research at Yangon University. Alice is also the recipient of the prestigious Schwarzman Scholarship, a competitive global master’s program hosted in Beijing. Alice has worked with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Kuala Lumpur and has undertaken an Honours Thesis in Asian Studies and Law.

Jessica Adamson (89')

Jessica is an award-winning Journalist, Speaker, Event Host/Facilitator and former 7 News Presenter. In her 24 years at the Seven Network, she has covered some of the world’s biggest news stories including the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami in Banda Aceh, the Bali bombings, the Beaconsfield Mine disaster, and the Sydney and Beijing Olympic Games. She is a passionate ambassador for the Royal Flying Doctor Service and CanTeen, as well as a Board Member for the Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation, and Sids and Kids SA.

Marie Shaw (69')

Marie Shaw, QC & Philanthropist, is an attorney serving Adelaide, South Australia at Frank Moran Chambers. Marie studied a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Adelaide, and specialises in criminal law and general appellate work. Marie has held a number of professional appointments, including the Queen’s Council in 1996, Member of Board of Examiners for admission to Legal Practice in SA in 1999, Chief Counsel for the Legal Services Commission of SA in 2004, and Judge of the District Court of SA from 2005-2010.

Sarah is the Director and Principal Interior Designer at Midesigner in Sydney, and is a powerhouse of creativity and professionalism, with an unwavering dedication to crafting timeless interiors that expertly balance form and function. Sarah truly believes that beautiful spaces have the power to transform daily life.

Lara Casanova (85')

Lara is an author, yoga teacher, circle facilitator, life coach and professional counsellor specialising in grief and loss. She has self-publishes three books, Heartbreak, Healing and Happiness, and Grief, Grace and Gratitude, and most recently, Loss, Love and Lessons – Healing Pet Loss and Grief. Through her holistic outlook, seeking nature, self-expression, qualifications and experiences, she reaches those struggling on challenging journeys to realise their true potential.

Bianca de Candia (09')

Bianca is the Marketing Manager – Partnerships & Experiential – Food & Travel at News Corp Australia. Studying a Bachelor’s Double Degree in Journalism and Creative Writing, Bianca has seen herself interning at Channel 7’s The Morning Show alongside Larry Emdur and Kylie Gilles, Marie Claire & Instyle Magazine, Australian Fashion Labels and Bauer Media.

Dr Pamela Schulz OAM (63')

Dr Pamela Schulz is the Senior Adjunct Research Fellow at the University of South Australia School of Communications and International Studies (Creative Industry). She has a 25+ year career in communication management and community education as a senior practitioner, advisor and manager within the South Australian Government Public Service. Dr Schulz published a book in 2010 and again in 2011 titled “Courts and Judges on Trial: Analysing and Managing the Discourse of Disapproval’. In 2013, Dr Schulz was awarded the Medal in the Order of Australia Queen’s Birthday Honours List for services to public relations and community.
