Donations & Bequests

It is through the generous donations of our extended community that we provide our students with every opportunity for success to become strong, passionate, and confident girls and young women, today, tomorrow and into the future.

The ongoing development of Loreto’s facilities and educational and co-curricular programs has been strongly supported by annual giving and community fundraising.

There are many ways to give to Loreto Marryatville. Gifts of any size are valued and have lasting benefits. We ask that you share our vision of ensuring Loreto College is a school that defines itself by best practice and is a school of choice and excellence both now and into the future by supporting our 2024 Annual Giving.

Should you wish to donate, please enter the details of your donation and you will be re-directed to our online payment portal. You can choose to donate using either your credit card or direct debit.

If you would like to donate on an ongoing basis, please contact the Finance Team on 08 8334 4200 to set up a direct debit.

If you would like to discuss your donation please contact Ms Christina Fabbian Head of Advancement and Community Relations on 8334 4200 or email community@loreto.sa.edu.au

How much can I give?
All donations are tax deductible and do not have to be a large amount.

How will my gift be spent?
Your gift will be spent on the area that you choose. The Loreto College tax-deductible funds are:

Building Fund – renovation of the Cottars Green Oval – Tax deductible

The complete renovation of the Cottars Green Oval is a significant undertaking aimed at enhancing the quality of our girls’ co-curricular sports activities. By improving the turf, we will provide our students with a premium host venue to hone their skills and pursue their passions in sports. We know how scarce playing fields are for girls, therefore this renovation will provide a myriad opportunities to expand our girls’ experiences and to host other schools and sporting competitions.

Scholarship Fund – Gonzaga Barry Bursaries – Tax deductible
Mother Gonzaga Barry ibvm was the foundress of Loreto Education in Australia. Her passion for girls’ education had a significant influence on the development of education across Australia. The Gonzaga Barry academic bursaries offer a place for girls whose families otherwise could not afford a Loreto education. Our aim over the coming years is to build giving circles through regular tax-deductible donations from our Loreto community, whether annual, monthly or weekly commitments.

Gonzaga Barry Bursary Scholarship Fund – Tax deductible

Mother Gonzaga Barry ibvm was the foundress of Loreto Education in Australia. Her passion for girls’ education had a significant influence on the development of education across Australia. In order to celebrate Gonzaga Barry ibvm’s vision for the education of girls, this scholarship aims to provide a Loreto education for girls who are related to a Loreto Marryatville Old Scholar and would not be able to attend Loreto college without financial assistance. This scholarship acknowledges the long traditions of almost 150 years of Loreto Education in Australia and almost 120 years of Loreto Education in Adelaide.
