Class of 2021 SACE results

We congratulate:

College Dux, Lily F, who achieved an ATAR of 99, including two A+ Subject Merits in Modern History and Women’s Studies, signifying exceptional achievement. Lily was also the recipient of the Governor of South Australia Commendation Excellence Award.

Lauren D, who achieved an ATAR of 98.35, including two A+ Subject Merits in Society and Culture and Italian Continuers.

Some further statistics:

  • 14% of students achieved above 95, placing then in the top 5% of the State
  • More than two thirds achieved above 80, placing them in the top 20% of the State

100% of Year 12 students successfully achieved SACE completion.

Congratulations to all students in our Year 12 cohort on their hard work and dedication throughout 2021. We wish them the very best for their future endeavours and accomplishments.

History Award Winners

Engaging girls to participate in various competitions is aligned with both our College strategic objectives, as well as our vision and mission as a school of raising confident and articulate young women. The participation in competitions teaches skills in independent learning and critical thinking, while simultaneously developing the confidence to take risks. The competitions have also been an important way of developing girls’ love of the humanities.

In 2020, Loreto College students won the following awards:

  • The 2020 South Australian Young Historian of the Year
  • The 2020 South Australian Simpson Prize Competition Winner
  • The 2020 South Australian Simpson Prize Competition Runner-Up
  • The Premier’s Anzac School Spirit Prize: South Australian Winner
  • The 2021 South Australian Simpson Prize Competition Winner

In 2021, Loreto College students won the following awards:

These results demonstrate the commitment by our students at Loreto College to consistently enter and thrive in national and state competitions which provide unique learning opportunities which in turn complement their studies and extend their learning.
