Loreto College is proud to partner with Chartwells to provide delicious and nutritious food in our Felicity Cafe for both Junior and Senior School students, as well as providing services across the Early Learning Centre, Boarding, retail and functions.
Chartwells are passionate about this market and the positive difference that they can make, through their food service, with a genuine commitment to wellbeing and the role that food plays in this environment. Their operating model is founded on a quality and tailored approach that brings an innovative and modern edge that is well researched, specifically for catering to students in the education environment. The Chartwells food philosophy is underpinned by their “smart food” program that has been designed and endorsed by Nutrition Australia. The program has been created to positively influence the quality and nutritional value of their menus which are tailored to reflect the specific needs of Loreto students. This takes into consideration portion size, time and age appropriate choices that reflect a balanced variety of food groups, cooking techniques and flavours. The program does not dictate, but rather educates clear and simple life food messages that are integral to our food service.
Recess and lunch items can be ordered and purchased by students every day via our online ordering system, Flexischools. The Flexischools app allows students and parents to place orders online at any time and can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
