Generations in Jazz
Our girls have done exceptionally well at the Generations in Jazz Festival over the first weekend of May.
The Senior Vocal Quintet came equal FIRST in Division One – small group, along with Wesley College (Victoria). This division is the highest of the two vocal divisions for small ensembles and together there were 19 ensembles. A fantastic achievement!
Our Senior Vocal Ensemble 2 came equal 4th in Division Two – large. This division had 25 schools entered and there was only .5 of a point difference to 3rd place, with our girls only scoring 1.5 points less than first place!
The younger Senior Vocal Ensemble 2 came 2nd in their division (Division Three) with just 1 point less than first place. Amazingly, this ensemble was formed only a year ago, so we are very proud of their efforts so far and look forward to seeing them shine 
This is an amazing set of results that represents an enormous amount of effort, dedication, rehearsal time, collaboration and spirit. A big thank you to our Vocal Director, Stacey Theel, and Music Staff, Tim de Jong and Lisa Schulz. Congratulations girls and all involved!
